IETF Publishes RFC5397

The IETF has published the “WebDAV Current Principal Extension” as RFC5397. This extension is designed to help WebDAV clients (and thus CalDAV clients) “bootstrap” their configuration by provided a quick way for the client to find the authenticated user’s principal resource. This avoids the need for the user to enter a potentially complicated URL path into the client configuration.
